IN MEMORY OF "TEZ" February 1977 July 1998 WITEZ DYNASTY, better known to all that loved him as "TEZ", was born and bred in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was a sorrel gelding with four white socks. It has been said to never buy a horse with four white feet because they wont hold up. Well TEZ never let it slow him down. He was the Reserve Champion Halter Stallion at 2 years of age. TEZ was the son of BOLERO, an U.S. western pleasure and stockhorse champion. He was the Grandson of WITEZ II, who was an Arabian racing stallion, rescued in Poland and brought to the United States by General George Patton, during World War II. TEZ was the companion and teammate of Frank Turben. Together they competed in Team Penning and Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Only SOME of their recent accomplishments in Cowboy Mounted Shooting are: July 1998 3rd OVERALL Shootout in the Pines Payson, AZ. June 1998 TOP OVERALL Champion Bitterend Shootout - California May 1998 Top #4 Billy the Kid Shootout, New Mexico March 1998 Top #4 Festival of the West Feb. 1998 CMSA RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION WINTER RANGE 1997 CMSA RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION 1997 CMSA GRAND AMERICAN FINALS THIRD OVERALL 1997 CMSA Grand American Finals Top #4 1997 ACMSA HIGH POINTS CHAMPION 1997 Reserve CHAMPION MONTANA GAF SHOOTOUT 1997 RESERVE CHAMPION CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 1997 RESERVE CHAMPION AT RAILHEAD 1997 Top #4 at the Grand American Finals 1997 Top #4 at Bitterend 1997 TEZ was a trooper right up to the end.
